2012 is speeding along, and one after the other, my friends and fellow 1972 babies are turning 40.  My turn will come this Halloween.  Honestly, I am more than OK with my 40th birthday–in fact, I’m really looking forward to it (more on that this Fall)–but I still find it hard to believe I’m going to be forty.  Because in so many ways I still feel like I’m twelve.  When I was rifling through my press samples from this May’s National Stationery Show, I found this “Happy Fortieth” card ($4) from Sky of Blue Cards. And it pretty much sums up how I feel about my friends and I turning 40. Seems like were all just playing with our Care Bears & Cabbage Patch Kids yesterday.
